The Clinical Intern will provide clinical therapeutic and prevention services in an outpatient mental health office, school, community center and/or via telehealth. In this role you will work under the supervision of the Clinical Director or Clinical Supervisor in Ashland or Wayne Counties and will abide by the contractual agreement between Catholic Charities and the higher education program. 

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Clinical Intern under the supervision of the Clinical Director or Clinical Supervisor will provide behavioral health assessments, develop treatment plans and provide counseling to clients in an outpatient setting.
  • Will provide assistance with prevention programming which may include individual or group work.
  • Participates in agency and community meetings as needed.
  • Participates in community events as needed.
  • Completes all paperwork required by the agency within designated time frames.
  • Meets core social work, counselor, marriage & family competencies and adheres to regulations.

This is a paid internship at $14/hr. that requires at least one semester working up to 20 hours a week based on the requirements of the educational institute. Willing to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings. Office-based work is required.
