Account Manager

OVERVIEW

Phamily’s team is growing! We’re looking for a resourceful, self-motivated Account Manager to join us on our mission to transform healthcare delivery from reactive, episodic care to proactive care management.

 

In this role, you’ll work with medical groups, hospitals and health systems to create, implement, and scale their Chronic Care Management (CCM) programs. You’ll act as a strategic partner to Phamily’s sales team to help our customers meet their goals while continuously seeking opportunities to drive revenue growth and expose value.

Ideal candidates are driven by Phamily’s mission, have a SaaS account management or sales background, and are interested in working at a high-growth health tech startup.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Related to Revenue

  • Achieve target levels of revenue growth in your book of business.
  • Conduct regular account planning sessions with Account Executives, Customer Success Associates and Executive Leadership.
  • Analyze and interpret data to expose value, make targeted recommendations to improve performance, and surface opportunities to grow.
  • Prepare for and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with clients.

Related to Strategy

  • Drive executive, physician and care manager relationships, engagement and buy-in to help growth Phamily programs.
  • Represent Phamily and drive engagement through mostly virtual meetings. Conduct some in-person visits to large and/or strategic practices.
  • Align with clients on goals, how they’ll be measured, and how Phamily can help meet those metrics.

Related to Account Growth

  • Drive adoption and ongoing utilization of Phamily’s technology and services for a defined book of business including health systems, hospitals, ACOs, large independent physician groups and medical practices.
  • Work closely with clients as a trusted advisor to ensure adoption, robust usage, impact, and high satisfaction with Phamily during and following implementation.
  • Create and refine internal and customer-facing content.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams like Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, and Product Sales to advocate for customers, submit feedback, and improve the product.

ABOUT YOU

  • Background in SaaS account management or sales with a track record of driving significant commercial growth in a book of business.
  • Highly motivated by and interested in driving revenue, customer retention and helping customers meet their objectives.
  • Consistently meets or exceeds quarterly and yearly revenue & growth goals.
  • Proven success navigating complex organizations and the ability to quickly identify decision makers and their decision-making process.
  • Able to analyze account and financial data to identify root cause problems and then propose and implement solutions to customer executives and project champions.
  • Creative problem solver that uses all available resources when tackling an issue.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable challenging the status quo.
  • Demonstrated ability/flexibility to work cross-functionally in a fast-growing company where frequent changes are the norm.
  • Excellent communicator with great written and verbal skills. You have no problem explaining a complex concept in a simple, easy to understand way.
  • Comfortable having tough conversations and asking probing questions to surface the root cause of issues.
  • Curious with a drive to learn and grow in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Takes feedback well (and gives it freely).

AT A MINIMUM, YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Three or more years of account management experience where the primary focus of the role was to grow a book of business through virtual and face-to-face meetings with customers
  • Experience developing & executing on account plans with quantitative goals (revenue, usage, customer satisfaction, etc.)
  • Experience working with the C-suite to end users in enterprise accounts
  • Excellent Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Remote based role with willingness to travel to meet with strategic clients

WHAT WE PREFER

  • Experience in account management within healthcare
  • Experience selling SAAS software & tools to healthcare providers
  • Experience working in the medical clinic/hospital setting is a plus
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau is a plus
