Chemistry Staff Scientist (Patents)

We are seeking an entry level staff scientist with a strong technical background in chemistry to join our team. 

 

Requirements:

 

• Advanced degree is required (Ph.D. preferred; will consider a Master’s degree with substantial industry experience).
• Training in Chemistry a must.
• Experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications and conducting IP due diligence and FTO analyses useful.
• Some litigation and/or post-grant experience useful.
• Registration with the USPTO preferred; prior firm experience helpful.

• Candidates must have:
  • An excellent academic record
  • Superior organizational and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional client service and a creative and entrepreneurial perspective on IP.
  • Must be willing to work in person 3 times per week in the Boston office.
