Intern - Pricing / Rebate Specialist, Year-Round
Job Description
As a Pricing/Rebate Specialist Intern, you will be responsible for the following:
- Perform audits of customer data for entitlement, formatting of data and upload into SAP
- Collaborate as a Partner with Sales and Customer Service to receive requests for price/rebate
- Interact with Sales, Regional Manager to address potential conflicts or challenges
- Participate in periodic business reviews to communicate measurement to KPIs
- Data Review
- Use Excel for data formatting, mining and analysis
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program for at least another 12 months and can dedicate 12 months toward this internship
- Student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Statistics
- Able to come onsite to our Fairlawn, OH ContiTech HQs 3 days/week (Mon-Fri)
- Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of a 2.8 or higher
- Minimum Sophomore standing or higher
- Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours (Mon – Fri)
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Good interpersonal skills - must work well on a team
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with an attention to details
- Must be able to clearly communicate and build/maintain trusting relationships with our customers
