Development Associate VISTA (entry level)

Serve as an AmeriCorps VISTA with United Way of the Piedmont! As a Development Associate VISTA, you will be responsible for building the capacity of a local nonprofit organization to provide health, education, and economic mobility services through the following activities: grant writing, resource development, public relations and marketing, program development, and/or other capacity-building activities

Responsibilities may include: 

• Grant writing and fund development
• Volunteer recruitment and training
• Marketing and communications
• Program assessment, development, and implementation
• Data collection, research, and analysis
• Community outreach and engagement

Available sites: The Bridge at Green Street, St. Luke's Free Medical Clinic, and The Bethlehem Center
