Job Type: Part-Time/ Internship

Pay scale: $22.00- $25.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Start Date: Immediately

Hours: 20-40 hours per week/ flexible

Position Location: Remote digital office (work from home), U.S. based during PT business hours

Position Summary:

Bainbridge/ BC Analytics is actively seeking outgoing and highly motivated intern candidates with exceptional client relationship skills and a keen business acumen to join our business development team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage in various facets of Business Development, pivotal in establishing and nurturing relationships that drive growth and opportunity. You will gain invaluable knowledge around M&A advisory, the alternative markets, private equity funds, family offices, and institutional investors. Interns provide various support to team members while gaining valuable industry and professional skills further enhancing their capabilities for future career endeavors. Qualified candidates may be considered for full-time positions.


Responsibilities: (may vary depending on team assignment)

  • Schedule meetings via telephone outreach between BD team and fund and investor representatives
  • Build rapport, display confidence and demonstrate knowledge of our services to prospective clients
  • Gather industry and client data and organize through report summaries and CRM populating
  • Assist with qualification of businesses and business owners to identify their divestiture posture, ownership structure, revenue, EBITDA, actionability, and growth strategy
  • Collaborate with the deal team to develop a pipeline of companies that meets their clients’ investment criteria
  • Prepare various marketing materials to assist with client communications and conference attendance

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled senior or recent graduate from accredited college/ university program majoring in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field
  • Excellent speaking skills, able to demonstrate business acumen and professionalism
  • Experience in business writing
  • Experience in professional services sales environment preferred
  • Proficiency in HubSpot or similar CRM highly preferred
  • Proficiency in office technologies such as MS Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Able to interpret and analyze qualitative data
  • Adept at managing multiple projects and completing deliverables on schedule
  • Discipline to work independently and interdependently within a team environment
  • Exhibit a positive and professional attitude on a daily basis with clients and team members
  • A high level of ownership, accountability and initiative
