Position Overview:

We are looking for a Summer Digital Marketing Intern with a strong interest in SEO. This internship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, learn from industry marketing professionals, and make a tangible impact on our company's online visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the development and execution of SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.

- Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify target national and local keywords for each service area, as well as opportunities for content optimization and new content creation.

- Optimize website pages, content and performance to enhance search engine visibility, optimize user interface design, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).

- Perform competitive analysis to benchmark our SEO performance against industry competitors.

- Acquire quality backlinks by conducting outreach to relevant websites for guest posting opportunities 

- Optimize local SEO by location landing pages, implementing local keywords and optimizing Google My Business store listings with relevant content, and updating online directories

- Monitor and report on website traffic, rankings, and other SEO metrics using online tools such as google analytics.

**Qualifications:**

- Currently pursuing a degree and/or certificate in Digital Marketing or Marketing.

- Strong interest in digital marketing and SEO, digital marketing certificate a plus

- Basic understanding of SEO principles and best practices.

- Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and keyword research tools.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work independently

- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and HTML is a plus.

- Website building, conversion rate optimization (CRO) and user interface design knowledge a plus.
