CAD Technician

Company Description:

Fechko Excavating is a full-service professional survey, commercial excavating & paving company which specializes in performing site work and underground utilities for municipalities, commercial developments, educational and healthcare facilities and residential subdivisions.

Position Description & Required Qualifications:

• CAD experience with construction.  Specifically underground utilities, mass earthwork & pavement.
• Ability to read both ODOT & Civil Improvement Plans.
• Proficient in CAD Software (Carlson Civil/Survey), applied to the following:
  • Underground utilities building by 3D linework.
  • Modeling for ODOT & Residential Subdivisions (including roadways, roundabouts & mass earthwork).
  • Earthwork Evaluation.
  • Create/Build GPS Machine Files for both Excavator & Dozer operation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in GPS Field Operations including:
  • Trimble Business Center
  • Trimble Data Collectors TSC5/TSC7
  • Trimble Base Stations (SPS855/SPS985/R750)
