POSITION SUMMARY:                                  

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition (TA) Intern to work in our Human Resources Department, who will get the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in recruitment process improvements, recruiting and sourcing, analytics, and overall HR exposure. The ideal candidate would work through the summer and be available in a part-time capacity through the fall semester. This internship is designed to be both educational and practical. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the full recruitment process from candidate sourcing to offer management, ensuring a positive and seamless candidate and manager experience.
  • Support onboarding and hiring processes including review of new hire paperwork, background screening, etc.
  • Assist in the coordination and enhancement of recruitment events, including career fairs, campus presentations, and networking sessions.
  • Engage in process improvement efforts for the TA function, such as data analytics, employee value proposition enhancements, marketing, and branding and/or others as assigned.
  • Provide administrative support as needed, including scheduling interviews, updating candidate records, and preparing recruitment-related documentation.
  • Gain practical, working knowledge of working in a fast paced, high volume TA team and part of a larger HR organization.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Works independently with direction in a fast-paced office environment.
  • This role is full-time onsite in either our Fort Collins or Denver, Colorado offices.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
  • Creative with a keen eye for process improvement
  • Ability to organize, multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of Human Resources principles and practices is a plus

 

EDUCATION:                                                                                    

  • Must be currently enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program with a focus in Human Resources, Business, or another related field.
  • Student member of SHRM a plus.

 

COMPENSATION:                           

As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting.  Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.  The range of starting pay for this role is $19 to $23 per hour.
