Are you enthusiastic about startups, the tech industry, and gaming? As a HYEL 2024 Summer Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to gain practical experience, connect with like-minded peers, and make a positive impact on society! We're looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about spreading the word about our app, eager to participate in its development as early users, and excited to engage with their diverse communities. Duration of Internship Program: Until the end of summer (Flexible)
Compensation: Commission-based; must meet baseline requirement to receive compensation
About HYEL
HYEL (How You feEL) is an early-stage startup with a mission to improve social connections through our unique blend of social networking and mini-gaming experiences. Our app empowers users to personalize avatars with exclusive stickers, engage in club conversations with friends, compete in thrilling mini-games and Lucky Draw Sweepstakes, and immerse themselves in exciting special events!

Responsibilities
Throughout the program participants will:
- Complete the required training and onboarding process
- Weekly Strategy Sessions: Must meet with the HYEL marketing team weekly via Zoom or Slack to discuss initiatives
- Social Media Promotion: Create engaging social content to showcase the application features on your page
- Events: Initiate events and tournaments within community and gathered users to promote HYEL, and distribute flyers and merchandise for marketing purposes
Interview Process Consists of:
- 1 initial interview
- 1 Week testing period
- Followed by 2nd interview through invite
Qualifications
- Enthusiastic and dedicated individual who can promote HYEL in person within their community and/or college circle
- Passionate about technology, gaming, social media, and content creation
- Preferred solid understanding of social media platforms, but not required
- Preferred Greek life and club members, but not required
- Preferred editing software experience, but not required
