Co-Op/Intern 3

Interns/Co-ops/Externs for the City of Cincinnati’s Human Resources Department will have the chance to immerse themselves in various aspects of the City’s operations. These experiences encompass a wide array of tasks, including office-level assignments and civic engagement. The specific duties assigned will align with individual interests, degree programs, and organizational requirements, fostering a dynamic learning environment.
 
Primarily, interns will serve as the initial point of contact at the Human Resources Department's front desk. Alongside this role, interns will engage in a diverse range of activities designed to provide comprehensive exposure to HR functions and practices. 
 
Moreover, interns will have the unique opportunity to shadow department leaders in their day-to-day operations, attend civil service commission meetings, and potentially participate in city council meetings. At the conclusion of the internship, interns will share their insights and experiences at a staff meeting, providing a comprehensive overview of their time within the HR department.
