Sales Associate

Job Description Overview – Sales Associate (Full Time) and Sales Intern (Seasonal /Part Time)

       Fields Auto Works is a growing specialty sportscar chassis enterprise in Plain City, Ohio, bringing 3 new models of sportscar to the enthusiast market.  This exciting, trend leading effort, will allow sales professional growth translating into any emerging market experience. 

This role is under the supervision of the CEO and Sales & Partner Director, requiring self-starting motivation  and high flexibility interpersonal skills. 

Candidates should have strong interest in performance cars since we are still a start-up /investment stage organization  in a dynamic market with less structured industry training. 

This intern will support the complete sales process with a strong focus in lead generation through social media, sales contacts and campaign design & deploy communications. Additionally, the role will support marketing and promotional event activities. This role will have a public face for Fields Auto Works to its customers, partners, and media.

 

Responsibilities

  • Create incoming customer inquiries through Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, group marketing
  • Design communications and respond accordingly to prospects
  • Create sales pipeline through social media data
  • Engage and qualify prospective customers at events & assist with event hospitality/brand representation.
  • Report lead generation in the CRM
  • Strengthen prospect relationships through ongoing communications.
  • Maintain customer & partner communications practices that generate revenue.
  • Development and preparation of social and electronic media marketing content
  • Maintain and manage the sales and marketing collateral inventory.

 

Desired Skillset

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills leading to revenue.
  • Strong organizational skills in less structured team environment.
  • Basic graphic design awareness and skills
  • Basic web marketing skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, Salesforce and popular social media platforms.
  • Ability to work through a CRM.
  • Ability to make cold calls individually  and handoff warm leads as a team process .
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic extreme-sports environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales,  business, engineering focus or sports marketing focus or similar field of study.
  • 5 or more work years of experience in sales, marketing, hospitality, or similar field for full time consideration
  • Must be able to work under pressure with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment
  • Must be able to interface with customers and marketing partners in a professional manner
  • Must be able to travel at least 15 weekends per year for full time consideration
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift in excess of 40 lbs. without restrictions
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • Working knowledge of small business concepts and terminology.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US.
