Accounting/HR Specialist

In this full-time role, the Accounting/HR Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of clients including accounts payable, accounts receivable/recording of income, and month end and year-end financial statement preparation for clients.  HR support will include payroll, benefits, and employee onboarding/offboarding. This role will work collaboratively with clients to build positive relationships and support. The Accounting/HR Specialist will be located in the Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area for travel to client locations. This role will support the non-profit religious clients.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience in finance and accounting
  • Proven ability to create and interpret financial statements
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting programs preferred
  • Experience with Excel is required
