Procurement Co-Op: Summer & Fall 2024

Responsibilities for Procurement Co-Op:

We are looking for a co-op who would assist the procurement department with the implementation of SRM and ESG at De Nora Tech during the summer and fall semesters of 2024. 

SRM is a Supplier Relationship Management platform implemented at De Nora to enhance, simplify and create transparency in the relationship and communication with our suppliers.  The SRM Platform will target to provide a better supplier experience, improving and strengthening the ongoing partnership with our suppliers base, being the platform and the future focal tool for all supplier-related activities. 

SRM Responsibilities:

• Reach out to suppliers to start the onboarding process for existing suppliers.
• Work with suppliers and Jagger to resolve any issues with onboarding.
• Develop tailored work instructions around SRM for DNT.
• Ensure that all suppliers that were imported into SRM become qualified. 
• Develop and maintain KPI for SRM Onboarding
• Review current NDA’s and work with Legal to issue new requests for updated NDAs.
• Create templates for new supplier records.

ESG is a set of standards that companies must adhere to in order to create and maintain a socially responsible and sustainable business model. In supply chains specifically, these standards are being used as a way to measure performance, mitigate risk, and increase transparency. 

ESG Responsibilities:

• Roll out an internal awareness and upskilling campaign for procurement managers to promote change management.
• Disclose the share of spend dedicated to local suppliers.
• Work with suppliers to complete the ESG Survey
• Work with EHS to develop standard ESG reports for year-end reporting for scrap and chemical consumption.
• Assist with developing a competitor benchmark and ESG rating assessment.
