Agency Onboarding Specialist

About the role:

As the Onboarding Specialist, you’ll play an instrumental role in getting our new Agency Owners off to a successful start with Brightway by leading them through a well-defined process of providing to us all of the information necessary for them to open their Brightway Agency. The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized and an above-average communicator who can lead others through a process to a successful conclusion. The candidate is also a quick study, understanding all areas of the company ensuring new Agency Owners’ questions are answered accurately and quickly. Plays a key role as the “face/voice of Brightway” to internal and external customers. Participates as a member of the broader Agency Development team.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures newly signed Agency Owners understand the Onboarding process and works closely with the Communications Team to keep all relevant documents up-to-date and accurate
  • Ensures Agency Owners follow the defined Onboarding process; introduces AAOs to various processes, procedures and vendors to use through the process to ensure on-time Agency opening
  • Uses objective Location criteria already developed to make decisions about Agency locations with general supervision
  • Manages ongoing workload effectively and efficiently, using strong organizational skills
  • Documents all work in Salesforce and is proficient in running reports to understand onboarding Agents’ status
  • Regularly checks email and other systems through which work is requested
  • Proactively makes outbound calls or sends emails with the purpose of clarifying information or gathering correct information
  • May conduct research in order to complete work
  • Fulfills requesters’ needs, ensuring satisfaction
  • Cultivates positive interpersonal relationships with Agency Owners and others
  • Proactively identifies process improvements that make the department more efficient and effective
  • Documents activities and follow up in appropriate systems regularly and accurately
  • Documents processes followed in order to ensure tasks are able to be replicated accurately
  • Maintains process and procedure manual for the area
  • Listens to, and incorporates, feedback
  • Works as part of a team, ensuring work done is complementary and not duplicative or conflicting

 

 

Education requirements:

The position requires a high school degree or equivalent and 0-2 years’ experience in a related field. Must be proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
