Web Production Specialist

Description:

The Web Content Production Specialist will be responsible for timely and accurate execution of content production on ptc.com and mathcad.com. As a member of our web production team, they will work on content authoring, updates, and edits as well as content quality assurance under the direction of Web Content Lead and in collaboration with internal web team members of other functions.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Author, maintain, update, QA, and publish website content through Sitecore CMS (Content Management System) and Digital Asset Management (DAM)
  • Monitor and update status of the content ticketing tool, to ensure tasks are delivered on schedule and with all requirements completed
  • Create, monitor, and test website pages to ensure they’re displaying properly, following all internal guidelines, and providing an optimal experience across devices
  • Communicate with the stakeholders to ensure timely execution of their tasks and requests, while ensuring that all the request requirements are met in compliance with the internal web best practices and rules
  • Project Manage assigned ticket load
  • Help maintain internal web production documentation

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience using a ticketing system, such as Jira
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related field
  • Ability and drive to work towards set deadlines
  • Attention to details and excellent grammar
  • Fast learner and a natural curiosity for continued learning
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus
  • Familiarity with content management systems, such as Sitecore, a plus
