Account Fellow

Job Description Summary

A fellowship is an entry-level position designed to teach the employee the
fundamental facets of health and wellness advertising, the company, and their department. With a focus on training, our Fellows will have the opportunity to participate in training courses such as Pharma 101, Business Writing, and
Foundations of Presenting; as well as a series of discussions with Senior
Executives to understand how each department partners to service our clients. Fellows are given opportunities to expand their network and be mentored by the greatest minds in pharmaceutical advertising.

The Account Fellow assists the Account Services team to which they belong and acts as a liaison between the client and the internal Havas team. The Account Fellow may communicate with clients depending on the nature of the business and specific client needs and internal teams on a day-to-day basis to ensure client satisfaction.

 

Job Description

RESPONSIBLITIES
– Assists the Account Lead with maintaining client relationships as fit for each client and communicating client needs to internal team
– Collaborates with PM to create project briefs and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
– Assists with projects kick off and client status meetings by capturing notes and generating contact reports
– Sends emails to clients as appropriate and to internal teams
– Answers questions that clients and internal teams may have
– Updates clients and internal teams on the status of projects
– Submits projects for medical, legal, and regulatory review
– Tracks spending and billing for projects, project estimates, and expenditures
– Reviews monthly invoices and enter project estimates
– Assists with general organization of the brand, whether through server folder organization, status grid structures, or via ad hoc client request


IDEAL EXPERIENCE
– BA/BS in Marketing/Advertising, Communication, Business Administration, or equivalent
– 0–1 year of relevant business experience
– Prior experience for healthcare / communications industry (preferred)

– Sends emails to clients as appropriate and to internal teams
– Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
– Strong verbal and written communication and public speaking capabilities
– Strong organizational, leadership, and multitasking techniques with attention to detail
– Candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
– Candidate should have the ability to work well under pressure and maintain high quality standards
– The successful candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, thrive from speaking to people and building relationships, and have an optimistic attitude
