Job Purpose
Provides engineering support through a structured method of combining classroom-based education with practical work experience.
Duties and responsibilities
- Interface with Engineering to solve problems relating to processes, fixtures and materials.
- Assemble / Program prototypes as needed.
- Engineering will generally be provided with a key project to complete during employment. Other miscellaneous tasks will also be required. The Engineering Coop will be expected to fulfill the same role an engineer would be expected to fill, but with more guidance and support as required.
Qualifications
- Requires enrollment for a BS degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology or other related engineering discipline.
- Experience working in a manufacturing engineering position will be positive but not required.
- Person should have experience in the use of computer software that applies to this type of work.
