Marketing Intern

Reports to:                   Director of Marketing

 

Summary:                    

The Marketing Intern will assist in executing Malco’s marketing strategies, participate in campaigns, and contribute to creative brainstorming sessions.  The Marketing Intern will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing in a real-world business environment. 

 

Responsibilities:           

These responsibilities are intended to provide an overview of the Marketing Intern role. This list is not inclusive – other duties may be assigned to support the growth of the business. 

 

The individual in this Marketing Intern position is responsible for providing support for the marketing team while gaining practical experience with current marketing techniques.  The individual will have shadowing, mentoring, and training opportunities with seasoned marketing professionals at Malco. 

 

  • Support marketing team in daily tasks.
  • Assist in the creation of promotional materials.
  • Contribute to social media content and management.
  • Participate in market research and analysis.
  • Help organize and coordinate marketing events.
  • Analyze data to help shape future marketing strategies. 
  • Other projects as assigned by the Director of Marketing.

 

 

Requirements:              

 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing software.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Creative thinking and eagerness to learn.
