Supply Chain Operations Summer Internship (Summer 2024)

PITT OHIO, a $900 million, high service, highly profitable, transportation solutions provider offering SUPPLY CHAIN, GROUND, LTL and TRUCKLOAD services is seeking aSupply Chain Operations Summer Intern. This internship position is located at our corporate headquarters in the Strip District area of Pittsburgh, PA.

Responsibilities

• Support Carrier Management and Team members.
   
• Collaborate with team members and help evaluate business practices.
   
• Document inefficiencies and write plans on how to enhance or improve processes.
   
• Work with team members on projects and day to day duties.

Review International business functions and Rail Yard operations near Pitt Ohio Terminals.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field
• Minimum GPA of at least 3.0
• This position requires strong organizational and time management skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a passion for collaboration and innovation.
• Working knowledge of MS Office 365 suite is required.
• Knowledge of Power BI is preferred.
• This is a team-oriented position, although the applicant must possess the ability to work independently.
• A strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal communication skills are a must.
