Business Analyst (Sustainability Focus)

The Business Analyst is responsible for understanding Aviagen’s global business and markets in which it operates, plus will play a key role Aviagen’s sustainability analytics. This role reports to the Senior Business Analyst and will focus on specific analytics for products, markets, and sustainability. They will work closely with all business units across Aviagen Group globally, gathering, validating, summarizing, and reporting product, market, and sustainability information. 

Location: Huntsville, AL

Responsibilities

• Organize data gathering, validation, submission, and reporting of product, market, and sustainability information. 
• Ensure timely issuing of reports to all businesses within the Aviagen Group.
• Assist in expanding product, market, and sustainability data gathering and reporting across the company.
• Work with assigned departments on continued development of product databases, Aviagen’s CRM system, and development of a global carbon footprint database.
• Liaise with relevant departments providing data for Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) and Carbon calculation.
• Gather, summarize, and report data and information about sustainability improvements across Aviagen Group.

Professional Experience

• 1+ year’s prior relevant work experience.
• Advanced knowledge and experience working with data management and analysis.
• Working experience of BI and Statistical tools (e.g., Qlik Sense or SAS JMP) preferred.
• Demonstrated communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field

This position will be based onsite in the Aviagen Corporate office in Huntsville, Alabama.
