• Complete incoming inspection and/or chemical analysis of raw materials in accordance with defined procedures and specifications. Results of the evaluation are documented on the appropriate component inspection report.
• Complete chemical analysis of finished products in accordance with defined procedures and specifications. Results of the evaluation are recorded in the device history record.
• Ability to identify and properly report out of specification test results.
• Complete device history record review and release approval of products in accordance with finished product inspection procedures.
• Complete calibration of laboratory instruments and balances in accordance with defined procedures.
• Complete visual inspection of product labeling prior to the issuance of the prepared labels to manufacturing.
• Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies that are required to complete the responsibilities of the position.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Create, review, and approve product certifications.

Skill Set/Knowledge/Expertise:
• Gas Chromatography experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organization and prioritizing skills
• Computer literacy

Educational Requirements:
• AS Degree (OR Bachelor's degree - finished or pursuing) in a scientific discipline - chemistry preferred, or equivalent experience
