Paralegal Intern

Purpose of Position: 

The Paralegal Intern will be responsible for supporting attorneys in the Legal & Enforcement Department of ReliabilityFirst Corporation. Under the supervision of licensed attorneys, you will support the Legal Department in contract review and management, the Enforcement Department in discovery and case work, and potentially Regulatory Affairs in corporate policy and procedure review.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Review and redline legal contract agreements for multiple departments including information technology, security, human resources, and corporate events.

2. Gather facts and evidence related to compliance enforcement cases, ensuring case files are organized and accurate.

3. Perform work to support board governance practices and corporate policy and procedure framework.

4. Manage multiple projects and commitments.

 

Qualifications: 

1. A student working towards an associate or bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies.

2. Computer skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, SharePoint and Power Point is required.

3. Work independently with excellent organizational skills.
