Marketing Project Manager

Marketing Project Manager

As a Project Manager for Marketing at American National, you will manage the workflow of marketing campaigns and projects within the Multiple Line Marketing department. You will regularly lead meetings with the purpose of moving projects to completion. In addition, this position works with various functional areas to schedule and manage resources, manage vendor relationships, and deliver projects within the established budget and time frame.

 

Placement Options: Springfield, MO., or Galveston, TX. 

 

What Will You Do?
Oversee project timelines to completion, finalizing key decisions regarding the project schedule, task assignments, and capacity; including communicating to stakeholders on any anticipated delays
Partners with the American National Procurement team to assess vendor quality/performance, accurately evaluate the target goal for the job, and analyze returning bids 
Conduct and lead regular meetings with various project teams, including but not limited to: Project Kick-offs, status meetings, and ad hoc meetings to ensure timely and accurate delivery of campaign deliverables

 

Qualifications
Associate degree with relevant work experience required, Bachelor's degree in relevant field, strongly preferred
Relevant work experience in project management and marketing (Able to provide examples of campaigns worked and discuss results)
Demonstrate effective ability to meet and/or exceed project deadlines
Professional written/verbal communication skills
Proven team adaptability, understanding how to effectively work and obtain what you need to deliver results
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Marketing Resource Management or Project Management Software such as Workfront is preferred
