Preschool/Pre-K Lead Teacher

Tiffany's Learning Center is a childcare center & preschool located in Burton, Ohio. We are looking to hire a lead preschool teacher for the 2024-2025 school year to help grow our ever-expanding program!
We are located in the heart of Burton Village. Our local library is located right in our backyard, as well as the police department for that extra sense of security. There are multiple options for field trip opportunities, including the Burton circle and Century Village, as well as walks around the block to enjoy our surroundings. Our learning center isn't your typical daycare building - we are very homey with a more open atmosphere. All of the kids in our care are treated as family. This is everyone's home away from home!
Signing bonus offered - up to $2,000 - based on education & experience!
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED a must (Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education a plus!)
- Previous childcare experience is preferred, but not required (willing to train)
- Must by physically able to keep up with young children - a medical statement is required to be on file prior to starting employment.
- Clean background check
- Just as important as the requirements above, you must love working with children!
The following trainings/certifications are required for employment:
- CPR (within 90 days of hire)
- First Aid (within 90 days of hire)
- Child Abuse Recognition (within 60 days of hire)
- Communicable Disease (within 60 days of hire)
