- Special Education, Intervention Specialist
- Early Childhood (K-3) Teachers
- 4th & 5th Grade ELA, Math Teachers
- Foreign Language
- Art
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement the school’s mission statement in all school activities.
- Uphold the code of conduct and all school policies
- Maintain and support a positive professional school culture
- Implement school-wide culture expectations and norms, inside the classroom and beyond.
- Integrate culturally responsive teaching practices into daily lessons and interactions with students, parents, and colleagues
- Create and deliver highly effective and engaging lessons that utilize research-based instructional practices and are aligned to Ohio State Standards.
- Monitor students progress through assessments, daily lessons/activities and observations
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
- Maintain a productive, safe, and focused learning environment
- Keep parents well-informed about students' progress, providing frequent feedback in accordance with school guidelines
- Uphold all school policies within the classroom
- Work with grade level teachers and administrators to address and resolve student issues
- Administer school and state assessments
- Participate in school-wide and individual professional development
- Attend and participates in all staff meetings
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
Valid teaching certification or license - Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in education
- Strong classroom management skills to create an organized and structured learning environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Experience in mentoring or guiding students in their academic and personal growth
- Proficiency in literacy education strategies to promote reading and writing skills
