The Pathways Internship Program is designed to provide students enrolled in a wide variety of educational institutions, from high school to graduate level, with opportunities to work in agencies and explore Federal careers while still in school and while getting paid for the work performed.  To provide a student trainee who has been appointed to an approved Air Force training program with on-the-job training and guidance.

Job Duties:

****This position is temporary and has a Not-to-Exceed date. However, this position may be extended to the fullest legally allowable period without competition. The appointment may also end early due to lack of work or funds.****

  1. Performs selected tasks and phases of routine studies and projects that require application of basic occupational field theory and principles in the technical area of Physical Sciences.
  2. Participates with senior personnel in conducting non-routine projects.
  3. Provides assistance in planning, monitoring, and conducting special studies, projects, and initiatives.

 

Travel Required:

Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

 

Salary:

$17.58 to $22.85 per hour

Salary range listed is the base salary minimum and maximum. Actual pay calculations with locality will be determined based on position fulfillment.
