The Pathways Internship Program is designed to provide students enrolled in a wide variety of educational institutions, from high school to graduate level, with opportunities to work in agencies and explore Federal careers while still in school and while getting paid for the work performed. 

The primary purpose of this position is to To provide a student trainee in the Pathways Internship Program with on the-job training and guidance. The student performs manual labor tasks involving the use of common hand tools and simple power equipment.

Duties

  • Loads, unloads, moves, and stacks material such as heavy boxes and bulky items by hand, trucks, or dollies.
  • Operates hand tools and simple power equipment.
  • Performs a variety of manual tasks such as moving, arranging, collecting, and cleaning equipment and materials.
  • Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment.

Salary: $19.04- $22.17 /Hr.
