Marketing Intern

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Paddle The River, LLC - Marketing Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing strategy, customer relations, and brand management within the outdoor adventure industry. The selected candidate will work closely with our team to enhance our brand presence, engage with our audience, obtain and create new content, and elevate the overall customer experience.

 

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote Paddle The River's paddle experiences and engage with our target audience

- Create compelling content for our digital channels, including social media platforms, website, and email newsletters, to showcase our adventures and connect with our community

- Monitor social media channels and engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner

- Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and special events to drive engagement, bookings, and customer retention

- Assist with customer inquiries, reservations, and check-in procedures, providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests

- Collaborate with our team to identify opportunities for improving the customer journey and enhancing overall satisfaction

- Assist with administrative tasks related to marketing and customer relations, including data entry, reporting, and customer feedback analysis

 

Qualifications:

- Passion for outdoor adventure and a genuine enthusiasm for paddling

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-centric approach

- Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools, with a creative mindset and an eye for visual storytelling

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

- Experience in customer service, marketing, or related fields is a plus
