Social Media Coordinator for PlaynSports.com - 100k Social Media Followers

Overview: We are seeking a versatile and dynamic individual to fill the combined roles of Social Media Coordinator and Social Media Engagement Specialist. This position offers the opportunity to manage our social media presence while also fostering meaningful interactions with our audience across various platforms. The ideal candidate will be creative, outgoing, and passionate about both content creation and community engagement in the digital space.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and foster community growth.
  2. Create and schedule content for all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok, ensuring consistency with brand voice and messaging.
  3. Craft compelling and visually appealing posts, captions, and graphics to captivate our audience and encourage interaction.
  4. Monitor comments, messages, and mentions across social media channels and respond promptly and professionally to inquiries and feedback.
  5. Engage with followers by liking, commenting, and sharing relevant content to foster conversations and build relationships.
  6. Identify opportunities to spark discussions, polls, and Q&A sessions to encourage user engagement and participation.
  7. Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm and create engaging social media content, including videos, photos, and written posts.
  8. Analyze social media metrics and insights to track performance, identify trends, and optimize content strategy and engagement efforts.
  9. Provide insights and recommendations based on social media data to continuously improve our social media presence and engagement strategies.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience managing social media accounts and creating content for businesses or organizations.
  2. Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive content.
  4. Ability to effectively engage with a diverse online audience and adapt communication style accordingly.
  5. Creative mindset with a keen eye for design, aesthetics, and storytelling.
  6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics) and social media management platforms.
  8. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
