Cleveland Jewish News seeks paid interns

The Cleveland Jewish Publication Company is accepting applications for internships in 2024.

The internships will be available starting in April. Deadline to apply is March 8.

Interns will gain on-the-ground journalism experience in the fast-paced, professional newsroom environment of the CJPC, which publishes the Cleveland Jewish News, the Columbus Jewish News and the Akron Jewish News as well as several magazines.

The CJPC has captured more than 300 awards in the last six years, including being named the best non-daily newspaper in the state in six of the last nine years.

Interns will be involved in all facets of the company including but not limited to assisting reporters with research, verification, securing and speaking with sources, proofreading, copy editing, e-newsletters, magazines, events, assisting with the company’s 60th anniversary which will be celebrated in the fall and much more. Interns will also spend time in the advertising, marketing, digital and production departments. By the end of the internship, interns should be well-positioned to write stories for our publications and websites.
