We are currently seeking kind, compassionate, hardworking and dependable people to plan and implement an ongoing program of activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child.
Our child care staff members bring warmth, patience, fun and understanding to the classroom every day, encouraging children to learn and grow. They inspire children to be lifelong learners using our nationally recognized curriculum that promotes social, physical, verbal, and cognitive development.
As a Teacher/Teacher’s Assistant, you will help young minds explore, discover and understand the world around them.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Implement the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
· Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
· Responsible for the overall supervision on daily class functions of a group of children.
Potential candidate will work steady full or part-time shifts with children of all age groups. As stated earlier, we will work around class schedules.
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation.
- Meet all background check, medical and educational requirements for a licensed child care center.
- Bachelor's or Associates' Degree in Early Childhood preferred, but not required.
- If necessary, willingness to pursue Child Development Associate Credential after 6 months of employment (at no cost to candidate - https://www.cdacouncil.org/en/about/learn-about-the-cda/).
Hours of operation: Monday – Friday 6AM to 6PM
$12-$16/Hourly (negotiable depending on education and experience)
