Senior Staff Scientist - Analytical

Description

• We are looking for a Analytical Chemist to join our Chromatography/MS Laboratory in the R&D Analytical group.
• You will serve as a technical expert in chromatographic analyses and method development utilizing various separation and detection techniques in support of research, regulatory and business efforts.
• You will be responsible for small molecule chromatography to include but not limited to GC, GC/MS, LC, LC/MS and a fundamental understanding of wet chemical techniques.
• You will be responsible for the evaluation and implementation of relevant new technologies toward improving the breadth and quality of the analytical information and improved laboratory efficiencies.
• You will collaborate on a diverse set of technical problems in providing technical expertise in support of global R&D, manufacturing, customer applications and regulatory efforts.

Qualifications

• You have a PhD or advanced degree in chemistry and have expertise in GC, GC/MS, HPLC and LC/MS.
• Technical expert in chromatography and mass spectrometric analyses with extensive experience in method development, method validation, method troubleshooting and sample preparation techniques.
• Experience with troubleshooting and repair of chromatographic instrumentation.
• The ability to provide technical leadership in the evaluation of new analytical technologies toward improving qualitative and quantitative efficiencies.
