One-Cycle Control, Inc. (OCC) is a growing premium company in the power and energy space offering ground-breaking technology and products for the clean energy market. OCC designs and manufactures high density, fast response, and high-reliability PFC rectifiers, inverters, active power filters, and Dynamic VAR compensator. Our award-winning modular products serve as building blocks for renewables, energy storage, grid stabilization, micro-grid applications, and industrial applications.

We are in the phase of ramping up production and our goal is to supply high-quality American power converter products at a high volume production rate and create jobs in California. 

We have an opening for an Electrical Engineering (EE) internship. This person will assist OCC’s electrical engineers in design, system integration, prototyping, testing, and productizing power converters, subsystems, and systems. 

Job description: 

  •   Electrical and Electronic wiring diagram drawing

  •   Analog digital circuits design and testing

  •   Embedded system programming

  •   Circuit/system prototyping

  •   Circuit and system test and validation

  •   Documentation

  •   Quality control 

Qualification: 

A BS student in EE. Ability to read and draw the electrical and electronic wiring diagram. Avid self-learner, self-motivated, and team-oriented. Experience with technical documentation, small signal (analog & digital) circuit design, microcontroller applications, embedded programming, electronic instruments, and/or mechanical hand tools experience. Ability to efficiently and effectively manage time and carry out tasks. Good written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail, motivated, self-reliant, and honest. Minimum 16 hours per week commitment.

  •   Hands-on circuit and system prototyping and testing

  •   ECAD Design 

Required licenses or certifications:

  •   US citizen and Permanent Resident

  •   GPA greater than 3.5
