ABOUT US

Danbee Arts and Dance Camp (DADC) is located in the Berkshires of Massachusetts, about 3 hours from NYC and 2 hours from Boston. Our camp is the best of both worlds for girls who want a traditional summer camp experience while also pursuing their passion for fine arts or dance. We offer 1-week or 2-week programs for girls in grades 5-10.

Above everything else, we are deeply committed to changing girls’ lives through the power of camp, and we are looking for individuals for our staff who are just as committed to that mission as we are. Our ideal candidate for any position on our team has a strong work ethic, good communication skills, and is positive, mature, self-aware and flexible. We are also BIG on camp spirit - we look for staff who are enthusiastic and high energy, who can set a great tone for our girls! Bonus points if you’re not afraid to put yourself out there and be silly and show our girls that camp is a safe and supportive space. 

DATES & COMPENSATION

Position dates are June 11-August 11, 2024. Compensation range is $4,000-$5,500 dependent on experience, plus paid travel to camp. Meals and a private room are also provided.

POSITION SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Essential skills: Organization, culinary technique, safe food handling, ability to manage and mentor others, teamwork
• Responsibilities: the Culinary Arts Intern/Assistant Chef reports to the Food Service Director and assists them in overseeing food service to the whole camp community - about 50-100 people per meal
