Intern Polymer Testing Laboratory

Job Description:

This is an entry level internship position with opportunity to become full time member of the Center Street Technologies Team. Position has high growth potential. Ability to routinely work 15-20 hours per week during the school year is a requirement; approximately 35 hours per week during summer. Seeking to fill position immediately.

Responsibilities:

Prepare samples through 3D Printing/additive manufacturing extrusion and waterjet cutting, machining, sample preparation, etc. Conduct mechanical, thermal, viscosity, and other testing on polymer materials, and maintain and upload data to material databases. Laboratory and manufacturing environment.

Education:

College student seeking: Engineering degree in Polymers, Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, Aerospace Systems, Automated Manufacturing Technology

Requirements: 

Hands-on skills with mechanical aptitude

Familiar with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Knowledge of polymer properties and testing with basic CAD skills a plus

United States citizenship is required

Fifteen hours per week minimum availability during normal working hours (Monday-Friday between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm) during school year; approximately 35 hours per week during summer break.
