Demand Planning Internship-Summer 24
Basic Function:
Assist in the development and implementation of analytic and reporting processes through the creation of reports and dashboards to provide data-driven insights and help guide business decisions
Specific Responsibilities:
- Learn, understand, and demonstrate the functional applications of our cloud-based business intelligence tool (Sigma Computing) and present these learnings to management and other team members
- Create reports and dashboards to provide data-driven insights and help guide business decisions
- Learn to extract, process, and visualize data using Excel and BI software (Sigma)
- Assist in the development and implementation of analytic and reporting processes
- Collaborate with other teams and departments to gain business insight and provide tailored, data-driven solutions
Intern Qualifications:
- Experience using SQL, query creation and applied functionality
- Experience with Business intelligence and/or data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Sigma Computing, MicroStrategy, etc)
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Pursuing a career or degree related to Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science/Analysis, Mathematics, or Supply Chain
- Basic understanding of data concepts (Relational data, Database structure)
- Well-rounded skill set including strong critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and project management skills
- Open minded with a passion to learn.
- Self-starter who can operate independently as well as collaborate effectively with others
