Correction Officer

General duties include: 

· Maintaining Security Within the (Jail) Facility

· Physically Patrolling and Visually Inspecting the Facility and Housing Areas to Ensure Safety and Security of Staff and Residents

· Perform Searches of Physical Premises and Cells for Contraband 

· Observing Residents Directly and Indirectly 

· Complying With and Enforcing Security Procedures

General Requirements:

· Must be 19 yrs of Age

· High School Diploma or Equivalent

· Valid Ohio Driver’s License

· Ability to Pass a Comprehensive Background Investigation

· Team Player With the Will & Desire to Learn & Succeed
