Product Marketing Specialist

What You Will Do:

This role will be responsible for developing product messaging and positioning strategy across all channels and persona, as well as marketing plans and execution for a variety of mediums. You will sit at the intersection between the customer, sales team, marketing and the product team; thus, working cross-functionally is critical. Candidates should have a background in SaaS and B2B marketing and samples of high-quality written works and marketing campaigns they’ve spearheaded or collaborated in. This position reports directly to the VP of Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Align with Product, Marketing and Sales teams on strategy, messaging and execution
  • Create content to convey the benefits of our products to various audiences in sales enablement, product videos, blog posts, email campaigns, white papers, case studies, product collateral to support the buyer's journey and the website
  • Lead the go-to-market plan with relevant product content strategy and execution
  • Speak and present both internally and externally to promote the story of our product
  • Communicating product releases and feature enhancements via website updates, marketing campaigns and to internal stakeholders
  • Conduct and track competitor research on product features and benefits
  • Optimize the buyer journey as it relates to product feature adoption and usage
  • Interpret market research and apply relevant findings to the development process to influence aspects such as product features, user experience, naming, and positioning
  • Oversee customer response, reacting as necessary to any feedback and continue to suggest potential improvements to future iterations of the product
  • Product messaging and positioning – Develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with customers and differentiates our product from its competitors

Who You Are:

We are looking for a skilled product marketer and go-getter to clearly convey the story of our products and their benefits.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience creating content that aligns with company style and brand guidelines
  • Basic knowledge of SEO content, HubSpot (or similar CRM), Google Analytics, Webflow as a CMS
  • Core communications and business software (Slack, Zoom, MS Office and G Suite)
  • Working remotely, individually and as part of a team Bonus Qualifications
  • Startup experience (Angel, Seed, Series A/B)
  • Experience in B2B SaaS and/or PrepertyTech

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $80,000 - $100,000
