Account Growth Specialist

Job Title: Account Executive
Department: Sales
Reports To: Sales & Marketing Manager
FLSA Status: Full time, Salaried Exempt
Work location:  In-Office, Wooster, Ohio

SUMMARY:
The Account Executive drives sales growth through direct client/prospect contact and follow-up. Success requires generating new leads independently (prospecting) and responding to those coming through multiple RBB sources. The Account Executive should work well as part of the team, coordinating our interactions to close deals and drive growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
This list describes the general task expectations. Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Grow business with existing clients, including at new divisions/facilities, in coordination with the Sales Manager and others at RBB as needed.
  • Review and follow up on leads to identify and capture sales from new prospects.
  • Ensure that all leads are responded to within 3-4 hours.
  • Represent the character and principles of RBB to current and potential clients.
  • Share field intelligence with RBB personnel.
  • Maintain and use the RBB CRM system to promptly keep information up to date.
  • Handle incoming calls and make outbound calls as the sales leadership team requires.
  • Oversee the RFQ Process with new business clients, from pre-quote checklist to PO, answering or coordinating all new client questions.
  • Update the quote hit rate report and CRM pipeline for new clients/prospects through the sales process. Send weekly progress updates to the team.
  • Add new accounts and set up follow-up tasks in CRM.
  • Set up meetings, visits, and calls with prospective clients.
  • Follow the sales process with assigned prospects via tasks for calls and emails, tracking the process in CRM.
  • Conduct Industry and Market research to generate new leads.
  • Back up sales team members to cover absences.
  • Assist with planning marketing events, including trade shows, lunch & learns, client appreciation events, etc.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Sales, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proven track record of growing sales
  • Proficient knowledge and use of Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in sales, business administration or related field
  • 1-5 years of experience in B-to-B or technical sales.
  • Electronics background
  • Degree in sales, business, marketing, or communications
  • Previous work experience in administration, manufacturing, or marketing
  • Hubspot (CRM), Syspro (ERP), SalesIntel experience

Physical requirements and work conditions:

  • Ability to transport self to a wide variety of meeting places and settings.
  • Visual acuity sufficient to read/decipher customer documents.
  • Hearing acuity sufficient to understand customers.
  • Able to make and take phone calls.
  • Able to sit at a desk for extended periods.
  • Occasional company travel.
