Accelerated Leadership Development Program - R&D Plastics Virtual Development
- Partner with a mentor who is a seasoned professional engineering manager to develop best practices and evolve into a leader at Schaeffler
- Conduct injection molding simulations to aid internal design teams on robustness of plastic components
- Develop knowledge of plastics, elastomers, and other non-metallic materials to aid in more robust simulations prediction models
- Gain knowledge alongside experts in areas such as e-mobility simulations, bearing technology, product design and development, troubleshooting, customer interfacing, and testing.
- Are trained based on the 70:20:10 model which emphasis a mixture of hands-on experience, mentoring, and formal training
- Are given training and tools to develop leadership skills
- Present their rotation accomplishments at the end of each rotation in front of the Executive Board, senior management, mentors, and supervisors
