Business Development Representative - Internship
As a 32 yr old, family and veteran-owned business offering IT Management for small businesses in Northeast Ohio, we are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our team. You will be working to nurture, qualify, and set appointments with prospects through lead generation. Your responsibility is not to close sales, but to find interested prospects through phone calls and other marketing efforts. If you're motivated, outgoing, friendly, focused, savvy, and looking to expand your talents, we would love to meet you.
No experience is required, and we will train you to succeed.
Compensation:
- Pay is $13.50/hour plus a bonus plan
- We are open to candidates seeking part-time employment, approx 15 hrs/week
Responsibilities:
- Making outbound calls after preparing and sending out marketing materials
- Communicating persuasively and successfully
- Qualifying businesses
- Overcoming objections
- Setting qualified appointments
- Entering all relevant data into our contact management system
Requirements:
- General computer skills using Windows
- Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle opposition
