Occupational Therapist

Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OTR)

 

Location: Wooster, OH and Canal Fulton, OH area

Job Type: Full-time preferred, part-time welcome

Responsibilities:

As an Occupational Therapist (OTR) with EJ Therapy Services, you will work with a diverse range of children in a supportive team environment, with good collaboration and in-person mentoring. You will have the power to make a positive impact on the lives of children by:

Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans to address a variety of occupational therapy needs, including fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, visual perceptual skills, and self-care skills.

Collaborating with other therapists, teachers, and intervention specialists to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Providing counseling and education to families on how to address their child's occupational therapy needs.

Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications:

Valid Ohio Occupational Therapy license or eligible to obtain one.

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Detail-oriented and highly organized.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education:

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

Experience:

Any level of experience welcome, including new graduates.

Working Hours:
