Internship Assignment: Full Time – Summer 2024

  • Learn steel processing at Rolling Mill
  • Introduction to reliability best practices on critical assets
  • Introduction to subject matter expert's responsibilities
  • Shadow supervisors, subject matter experts, and engineers to assist in project action items and review day to day tasks
  • Learning process flow and products manufactured
  • Understand and analyze process improvement/loss and product success/failures

 

Internship Qualifications

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Must have completed 30 or more credit hours by the end of the spring 2024 semester
  • Must be a full-time student attending an accredited two-year or four-year college/university
  • Preferred majors:  Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related
  • Organizational skills
  • Data analysis, Excel, or statistical package skills
  • Presentation, communication, and documentation skills
  • Blueprint reading
  • AutoCAD
