Internship Assignment: Full Time – Summer 2024
- Learn steel processing at Rolling Mill
- Introduction to reliability best practices on critical assets
- Introduction to subject matter expert's responsibilities
- Shadow supervisors, subject matter experts, and engineers to assist in project action items and review day to day tasks
- Learning process flow and products manufactured
- Understand and analyze process improvement/loss and product success/failures
Internship Qualifications
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Must have completed 30 or more credit hours by the end of the spring 2024 semester
- Must be a full-time student attending an accredited two-year or four-year college/university
- Preferred majors: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related
- Organizational skills
- Data analysis, Excel, or statistical package skills
- Presentation, communication, and documentation skills
- Blueprint reading
- AutoCAD
