Your Opportunity as an Information Services Intern
As an Information Services Intern, you will have an exciting opportunity to grow by gaining and applying knowledge through hands-on experience in any one of our four primary areas: business area vertical (analyst or developer), infrastructure and support services, project management organization, or governance (security, architecture, risk management, and standards).
Location: Orrville, Corporate Offices
Work Arrangements: Hybrid, 25% in office expectations
In this role you will:
Dependent on the role, you will have additional opportunities (as well as responsibilities) to dive deeper into specific areas of the IS organization:
Business Area Vertical – As a Developer or Analyst in one of our business area verticals, you will help document, design, and/or build real deliverables requested by the business while also supporting day-to-day activities across various applications.
Infrastructure & Support Services – As a member of the Infrastructure and Support Services team, you will have the opportunity to work with both IS employees and employees from all areas of the company by procuring, receiving, storing, installing, testing, and shipping peripheral computer equipment, software, and supplies.
Project Management Organization (PMO) – As a member of the PMO, you will partner with project teams to develop and enhance business capabilities by helping organize, facilitate, document, manage, and oversee the resources and tasks required for the successful completion of a project.
Governance (Security, Architecture, Risk Management, and Standards) – As an Analyst on the Governance team, you will manage risk and provide guidelines on appropriate usage of IS tools and technologies, while advocating for a more secure and standardized way of working together.
What we are looking for:
A Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior standing in school with requisite educational experience in Information Services, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
A GPA of 3.0 or higher
A well-rounded skill set including knowledge of common software packages, organization skills, and the general nature of being detail-oriented
