Summer Camp Counselor

Who we are

Procter Summer Camp, a ministry of Procter Center in the Episcopal Diocese of Southern Ohio, creates a place for children, youth, and families to grow in faith, sing, learn, play, and pray in the peaceful farmland of London, Ohio. We seek and serve Christ in all people with whom we interact at camp, aspiring to model joy, respect, and affirmation towards everyone, no exceptions. Campers and staff members of all (or no) faith background are welcome to apply.

About Our Program

We offer summer camps for youth, families, and adults. This year, we are offering Conservation Camp, Camp Launch, and Choose-Ur-Own-Adventure Camp, in addition to Senior High, Middler, Primary, and Family Camps.

Our 6-acre, diversified vegetable farm is an integral part of our programing. Daily, campers are collecting eggs, exploring in the garden, and enjoying farm-to-table food. In the hotter parts of the day, you may find campers enjoy lake swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and jumping our our water trampoline. In the evening, we share stories and learn together; we sing and pray together. Our Camp Counselors are the hosts of all these fun activities, learning and playing alongside the campers. We also encourage our Counselors to hone in on their own passions to develop activities and programs that they would find enjoyable to host.

Position Purpose

Counselors are the primary caregivers for campers.
