Arlington Public Schools is looking for dynamic individuals who want to work with our amazing students! We have recently partnered with iTeach to help new teachers obtain a Virginia teaching license in just one year!
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience working with children
- Acceptance into the iTeach residency program
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implements instructional programs that meet the needs, interests and abilities of students using appropriate instructional materials
- Maintains safe and orderly environment
- Communicates with parents/guardians
- Maintains complete and accurate student records
- Collaborates with school administrators, other teachers, instructional assistants, parents, and community members
- Monitors and assesses student achievement
- Attends ongoing professional learning and meetings
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience working with students
- Knowledge of best instructional practices
- Ability to integrate technology
