Vanda, a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of novel therapies to address high unmet medical needs and improve the lives of patients, is looking for talented individuals with an interest in health science research to join our team.
Individuals will be trained in Clinical Drug Development and will participate in conducting Clinical Studies of innovative treatments.
- Design and orchestrate all aspects of a clinical study (Pre-clinical to Phase IV)
- Regulatory exchange with domestic and global regulatory agencies
- Training program that includes Human Physiology, Statistics, Regulatory Affairs, and overview of new drug development
- Mentoring in scientific writing and an abundance of opportunities to develop abstract posters for scientific conferences and research articles for publication
- Recent participation at scientific conferences includes SLEEP, American Academy of Dermatology, NeuroGASTRO, American Society of Human Genetics, European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, American College of Gastroenterology, Sleep Research and Biological Rhythms
Successful Candidates must have:
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Biology, Medicine, Health Sciences or related field, with strong academic record
- Exposure to basic sciences/clinical research
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, self-motivation, and ability to adapt within a dynamic environment
