Part Time Staff Accountant Internship
Wadsworth Plastic Manufacturing Company searching for a part time staff accountant. Perfect position for an accounting major who is searching for a part time position. This position offers flexibility for class schedule.
Job duties to include:
- Prepare and maintain financial records to track the organizations assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.
- Analyzes current accounting policies and procedures, and recommends changes for improvement.
- Responds to information requests, researches and interprets data, and answers accounting and financial questions. Meets all processing and reporting deadlines.
- Will maintain general ledger accounts, researches accounts, and analyzes financial records.
- Develops spreadsheet reports, verifies information, prepares journal entries, and reconciles accounts.
- Assists with monthly closing processes and prepares monthly reports.
- Covers during PTO time off for A/R and A/P positions in the company
- Reconciles bank accounts monthly.
- Maintain fixed assets and depreciation accounts.
- Verifies and/or completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
- Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
- Manages and reconciles expense claim reports.
