Child Care Summer Camp Counselor/Teacher
Lead Teacher: $13.00 - $15.50 per hour
Teacher Assistant: $11.50 - $13.50 per hour
Job Type: Part-Time, Full-Time, Seasonal

What will you be doing?
As a Camp Counselor......, you will work facilitate and participate in summer camp curriculum studies inspired by children’s interests. The ideal candidate will implement a lesson plan, provide a fun and safe environment and work with students 6-12 years old. Responsibilities include:
- Organizing games and activities that follow children's interests
- Creating and implementing crafts, art activities and gardening
- Communicating and engaging with families by giving detailed reports of the day’s activities, what is coming up, and how their child is doing
- Supervising children on field trips
- Keeping playgrounds and classroom organized and clean

Required Skills:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to build relationships with children and families
• Ability to work within regular operating hours
• Must meet state criteria for childcare employment
